Abstract:

In China,diabetic nephropathy has evolved as one of the main causes leading to endstage renal disease.Furthermore,podocyte injury is considered a critical factor in the development of diabetic nephropathy.In recent years,with the indepth exploration in glomerular podocytes,researchers have found that the damage mechanisms of podocytes injure in diabetic nephropathy such as oxidative stress,abnormal glucose metabolism,hemodynamic changes,inflammatory cytokines,insulin resistance and the influence of podocyteassociated protein exert an important role in the improvement of disease controlling and regulating.
