Abstract:

ABSTRACT Due to the various clinical manifestations, it is not easy to confirm the diagnosis of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs(NSAIDs) induced acute kidney injury(AKI), which might lead to the delay of treatment or even misdiagnosis. To be noted, the incidence of NSAIDs induced AKI gradually increased with the widespread use of NSAIDs, highlighting the importance of better understandings for this disease. Physicians, nephrologists in particularly, should further strengthen their alerts of NSAIDs induced AKI in clinics, especially for those susceptible populations. In this review, we are going to summarize the recent findings on NSAIDs-induced AKI, including epidemiology, pathogenesis, clinical manifestations and interventions.
