Abstract: COVID-19 can cause tissue and organ damage through a variety of mechanisms, including direct viral invasion, endothelial cell damage, imbalance of immune system regulation, and dysfunction of the renin angiotensin aldosterone system (RAAS). Although COVID-19 is mainly characterized by lung injury, the incidence of acute kidney injury is as high as 50％ in critically ill patients, the possible glomerular diseases caused by it should not be ignored. In this article, we review the clinical manifestations and pathologic features of COVID-19 associated glomerular diseases reported in literature in the past 3 years, and explore potential mechanisms of renal injury caused by COVID-19.
