Abstract:

A 62yearold male presented with nephrotic syndrome,microhematuria,renal insufficiency,anemia and hypertension.Serum immunofixation electrophoresis assay revealed IgG κ monoclonal band.Renal biopsy demonstrated membranoproliferative glomerulonephritis with monoclonal immunoglobulin deposits of kappa light chain.On electronmicroscopy,there were a lot of microtubules in subendothelial region,ranging in size from 14 to 22 nm.Finally,the patient was diagnosed with proliferative glomerulonephritis with microtubular deposits of monoclonal kappa light chain.
