Abstract: Maintaining oxalate homeostasis is crucial for preserving kidney health. Although the relationship between oxalate and kidney stone formation has been extensively studied，understanding of oxalate homeostasis in non-stone chronic kidney disease （CKD） is still limited. This review aims to analyze existing literature，focusing on the complex mechanisms of oxalate homeostasis in CKD，exploring key factors affecting oxalate accumulation，and discussing the potential role of oxalate in the progression and prognosis of CKD. The importance of the gut-kidney axis in CKD oxalate homeostasis，and outlines treatment strategies and possible approaches are also disccussed.
