Abstract:

Abstract:Pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) is a kind of extremely complex and serious illness, which can be caused by a variety of causes. Connective tissue disease is one of the major causes that lead to idiopathic PAH and often occurred in systemic sclerosis and systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). Recently, SLE associated with PAH has drawn people's more attention. Meanwhile, PAH is also an important reason that may cause poor prognosis of SLE. As PAH’s clinical manifestation is not so obvious, pathogenesis is unclear and examination means is difficult to accsess, it may be easily ignored by clinicians. This paper has reviewed the study of clinical manifestations, diagnosis and treatment of SLE associated with PAH and summarized the present achievement.
