Abstract:
Abstract: Heart failure is a complex clinical syndrome, a serious stage of various heart diseases. Pathogenesis of decompensated heart failure is volume overload due to sodium and water retention, and in turn resulting in systemic, especially pulmonary congestion and edema. Treatment that could reduce volume overload in acute and chronic heart failure patients has become a research hotspot. By summarizing recent clinical studies, this review compared the pros and cons of traditional loop diuretic therapy and ultrafiltration therapy in acute decompensated heart failure, in order to find some guidance for future clinical work.
