Abstract:
ABSTRACT The course of idiopathic membranous nephropathy is variable. Accurate prediction of renal outcome would allow optimal treatment decisions. The identification of parameters that predict prognosis with sufficient accuracy would allow individualized treatment and avoid unnecessary immunosuppressive therapy. Well-known risk factors for prognosis such as male, old age, persistent nephrotic proteinuria, increasing serum creatine. But the effects of morphological parameters on prognosis are conflicting.
