Abstract:  Protein  A  immunoadsorption  is  a  blood  purification  technique  which  removes  pathogenic  antibodies from the patient. It can effectively eliminate the pathogenic antibodies and immune complexes by extracorporeal circulation, which is characterized by the specific binding of Staphylococcus aureus protein A to human immunoglobulin, and it also has a great future for application. With the development of technology, immunoadsorption is increasingly used in the treatment of renal transplantation, but its effectiveness and safety are still unclear. This article will review the application of protein A immunoadsorption in renal transplantation, aiming to provide reference for the selection in clinical treatment.
