Abstract: Skeletal muscle plays an important role in daily activities of human body.In the state of cancer,chronic kidney disease and malnutrition,due to excessive energy consumption of skeletal muscle,patients eventually show skeletal muscle atrophy.Studies on “gutmuscle” axis have shown that intestinal microflora participate in skeletal muscle consumption and affect skeletal muscle atrophy through various channels.The relationship between intestinal flora and skeletal muscle consumption makes it possible to prevent and treat skeletal muscle atrophy by interventing intestinal flora.
