Abstract: Peritoneal dialysate (PD) solution is an aseptic solution containing osmotic agent,buffer alkali and electrolyte,which is the key factor to realize blood purification and correct the disorder of the internal environment.It has been found that PD solution has a direct organ protective effect after infusion into the abdomen,including improving microcirculation,promoting lymphoid reflux,reducing edema,counteracting inflammatory reaction and so on.The discussion herein will review the current available literature on the research status and application progress in this field.
