Abstract: Renal ischemiareperfusion injury（RIRI） is an important factor affecting early renal function recovery and longterm survival after renal transplantation,and is also a common cause of acute renal injury in clinical practice.Klotho gene was first discovered by Japanese scholars in 1997.As an antiaging gene,in recent years,more and more studies have confirmed that  Klotho  protein is closely related to RIRI after renal transplantation.This article reviewsed the association and interaction mechanisms between Klotho protein and RIRI.
