Abstract: Cardiorenal syndrome (CRS) refers to a syndrome that causes acute and chronic dysfunction in one organ of the heart and kidney, resulting in acute and chronic dysfunction of another organ. Its clinical manifestations are complex, and it lacks non-invasive props for early diagnosis and efficacy evaluation. With the progress of modern medicine, various imaging methods are increasingly used in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases. Cardiovascular magnetic resonance imaging (CMR) has been increasingly used in the clinical diagnosis and treatment of CRS because of its advantages of non-ionizing radiation, multi-parameter imaging, and can show changes in cardiac structure and function. This article reviews the research progress of CMR in CRS evaluation.
