Abstract:

Ｏｂｊｅｃｔｉｖｅ：To investigate the outcomes,annual fatality rate and causes of death in hemodialysis (HD) patients in Shanxi Province from 2013 to 2016.
Ｍｅｔｈｏｄｏｌｏｇｙ：Case data of patients in all hemodialysis centers in Shanxi Province from 2013 to 2016 were collected,and their outcomes,dialysis age,annual mortality,causes of death,and primary morbidity of kidney transplantation were analyzed. Relevant data were collected through Chinese National Renal Data System (CNRDS).
Ｒｅｓｕｌｔｓ：1. The survival rate of HD patients increased from 2013 to 2016,and the average dialysis age was 3574,3908,4356 and 4506 months,respectively.In 2016,more than half of the patients died within 3 years of dialysis (5257%),and most of the patients who were transferred or withdrawn were within 1 year of starting dialysis (44%). 2.The 4year mortality was 766%,550%,457% and 531%.The annual mortality of  diabetic patients was higher than nondiabetic patients.3. The peak of death time was within 1～2 years after starting dialysis. 4. The first cause of death in each year was cardiovascular events,followed by cerebrovascular events and infection.
Ｃｏｎｃｌｕｓｉｏｎ：From 2013 to 2016,the overall survival rate of hemodialysis patients in Shanxi Province showed an increasing trend,and the average age of hemodialysis was prolonged year by year.The annual case fatality rate (CFR) decreased from 766% in 2013 to 531% in 2016. The leading cause of death is cardiovascular events,followed by cerebrovascular events and infection.
