Abstract: A 50yearsold woman was admitted to the hospital with sustaining hemodialysis for 6 years,craving for a new hemodialysis access. Base on confirmed dysfunction of conventional vascular access,we successfully gave her an operation on tunneled cuffed cannulation of percutaneous translumbar inferior vena cava under CT and DSA dualguidance. After 10 months,the blood flow of dialysis catheter decreased, formation of fibrin sheath outside catheter was considered, and the catheter was changed under DSA. The treatment experience of the case provided an alternative for endstage renal disease patients with vascular access exhaustion.
