Abstract:

ABSTRACT A 43-year-old female was characterized by multi-system damage, positive autoantibodies and hypocomplementemia. The renal histologic examiantion showed type IV lupus nephritis. Then regimen of intravenous methylprednisolone totaled 2.5g was prescribed, following with oral prednisone, tacrolimus and mycophenolate mofetil. During the follow-up, she was suffered with systemic multiple abscess and recurrent fever. Pus culture showed Nocardia otitidiscaviarum. The final diagnosis was disseminated nocardiosis.
