Abstract:

ABSTRACT: As a simple, non-invasive tool with low-cost and good reproducibility, bioimpedance analysis （BIA）is increasingly used to evaluate body hydration status, and its reliability and clinical values have been confirmed by more and more data. This paper will review the basic theory, methodology, clinical application in specific populations including dialysis patients and critically ill patients, and the limits of BIA.
