Abstract: A 14⁃year⁃old female is administered infliximab monoclonal antibody injection due to poor response to mesalazine, after she was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease (CD) one year ago. Serum creatinine rose after six cycles, which further elevated when she received anti⁃infective therapy for fever and cough. Renal biopsy revealed acute interstitial nephritis (AIN). This article discussed the etiology of CD complicated with AIN, exploring the possible effects of drugs and other suspected etiological factors on AIN.
