Abstract: The main difficulties for treatment of patients with failing kidney allografts include chronic kidney disease complication management, timing of initiation and modality of dialysis, management of immunosuppression, allograft nephrectomy. Patients with failing allograft need to be treated jointly by transplantation surgeons and nephrologists, which is conducive to the longterm benefits. This review summarized clinical management points of patients with failing kidney allografts.
