Extracorporeal membrane oxygenation combined with continuous renal replacement therapy for a case of severe pulmonary infection due to secondary immunodeficiency

Abstract: A 44yearold male patient with IgA nephropathy for 2 months,led to immunodeficiency after steroid and immunosuppressant treatment,supervened suffer from severe pulmonary infection.The oxygenation index progressively decreased after mechanical ventilation,and under the treatment of antiinfection,the patients were given with continuous renal replacement therapy(CRRT) combined with extracorporeal membrane oxygenation(ECMO),and the infection was successfully cured,ECMO was evacuated and the patient was discharged successfully.
