Abstract: Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is an autoimmune disease involving multiple systems, and intestinal involvement is not rare.Furthermore, the incidence of intestinal involvement is increased the lupus nephritis patients.Intestinal injury often cant be diagnosed early and correctly in SLE patients, because the symptoms vary and often nonspecific. Some cases can be lifethreatening if treated unpromptly.Early recognition can improve outcome and reduce mortality. In this review,we focus on the common SLE related intestinal manifestations, including the clinical feature and treatment of lupus enteritis, intestinal pseudoobstruction, and proteinlosing gastroenteropathy.
