Abstract: Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is an autoimmune disease involving multiple systems, and intestinal involvement is not rare.Furthermore, the incidence of intestinal involvement is increased the lupus nephritis patients.Intestinal injury often cant be diagnosed early and correctly in SLE patients, because the symptoms vary and often nonspecific. Some cases can be lifethreatening if treated unpromptly.Early recognition can improve outcome and reduce mortality. In this review,we focus on the common SLE related intestinal manifestations, including the clinical feature and treatment of lupus enteritis, intestinal pseudoobstruction, and proteinlosing gastroenteropathy.
