Abstract: ＴUbiquitin-proteasome system (UPS) is essential for the regulation of various cellular functions by degradation of over 80％ of cellular proteins, and is critical for maintaining cellular homeostasis. Recently, increasing evidences emphasize the involvement and importance of UPS in physiological and pathophysiological processes during podocyte injury. In this review, we provide the overview of UPSmediated proteostasis in podocyte injury.
