Abstract:

Abstract: A 29 year old male was diagnosed diabetes six months ago. He has history of systemic lupus eythematosus and lupus nephritis, and had been treated by stem cell transplantation. Both the oral hypoglycemic drug and insulin treatment failed to control the blood glucose level. After the diagnosis of type B insulin resistance in our hospital, he was given immunosuppressive therapy. The insulin resistance improved after then, and insulin and hypoglycemic drugs gradually withdraw, the glucose level returned to normal finally.
