Abstract:

Objective:To investigate the risk factors of iron deficiency anemia in maintenance hemodialysis (MHD) patients, and establish a nomogram model.
Methodology:296 MHD patients from our blood purification center from January,2018 to May,2019 were selected to obtain clinical information.Logistic regression analysis was used to screen for iron deficiency anemia.Independent risk factors selected were used to establish a nomogram prediction model, and the predictability and accuracy of the model are verified.
Results:By performing logistic regression analysis, hypertension, drug therapy (rHuEPO,iron, folic acid, vitamin B12),chronic inflammation, hepcidin and hemodialysis parameters were independent risk factors of iron deficiency anemia (P<005).A nomogram model to predict iron deficiency anemia was established and validated, the Cindex was 0791 (95%CI 07320850).
Conclusion:The establishment of risk factor analysis and nomogram model of iron deficiency anemia can improve the diagnostic efficacy of iron deficiency anemia in MHD patients.
