Abstract:
[Abstract] With the application and progress of hemodialysis technology, chronic renal failure (CRF) patient's life expectancy was also gradually increasing. The patients had not just satisfied with the extension of life, but also began to demand the improvement of the quality of life. Erectile dysfunction (ED), as one of the important factors affecting the quality of life, was also the important problems for the CRF patients. The pathophysiological mechanism of ED in CRF is various, mainly including: peripheral vascular disease, nervous dysregulation and endocrine metabolic disorders. This paper reviewed the pathophysiological mechanism of ED in CRF, in order to further improve the research level and the treatment effect of ED in CRF.
