Abstract:

ABSTRACT Onco-nephrology is a new and evolving subspecialized area in nephrology that deals with kidney diseases in cancer patients. Not only is cancer often associated with abnormalities that affect the kidney, but cancer therapy often leads to both acute and chronic kidney diseases. If these problems are not solved，a lack of knowledge about this will reduces quality of life and expectation of life expectancy in tumor patients, meanwhile it will hinders the development and promotion of new anticancer drugs. This article will discuss the related problems of this field, the purpose of which is prompting recognition and treatment initiation for the patients who are with chronic kidney disease suffering from cancer，and improving outcomes in this population.
