Abstract:

【Abstract】 Objective:To evaluate the effect of weight loss using low caloric diet in obese patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD). Methodology:Through the term of CKD, obesity, weight loss and low caloric diet to searching randomized controlled trials (RCTs)or before-after self-controlled trials on which some cases about weight loss interventions in CKD were searched out from Mesline, EMBase, Pubmed, Google, CBMdisc, wangfang darabase to have the sifted, evaluated and extracted for meta-analysia. Results: A total of three studys involved 51 patients was finally selected. Meta-analysis indicated that weight loss interventions were associated with decreased proteinuria [SMD=0.87,95%CI(0.46,1.28)]. Conclusion: These results suggested that weight reduction using low caloric diet might improve proteinuria in obese patients with CKD.
