Gross hematuria, acute kidney injure after burn

Abstract:

Abstract  A 59 years old male patient with large area of burn (60% of TBSA, II-III degree) did debridement and skin grafting several times. After skin grafting, the patient fevered repeated and was given anti-infection therapy. One month later, the patient gradually developed edema in the whole body, suppression in the chest and asthma, gross hematuria and urine gradually reduced to anuria, with renal dysfunction progressively. The renal biopsy showed crescents involving 100% of the glomeruli with IgA depositing, considering associated with infection.
