Abstract:

ABSTRACT  Hemodialysis is a significant life-saving treatment of patients with end-stage renal disease, which needs abundant water. As water scarcity increase in worldwide, the dialysis facilities should be focused on salvaging water. This review is to summarize the current water utilization, water conservation, wastewater reuse and the potential benefits of water conservation in hemodialysis.
