Abstract:
Metabolic disorders such as obesity and type-2 diabetes have been one of the major health problems all over the world. It is proved that endocrine disrupting chemicals may interfere with the normal metabolism. Plastics, pesticides and doxins can inappropriately activate some of the hormone receptors, the xenosensors, and the metabolic receptors, which then mediate the endocrine disruption.
