Abstract: Acute kidney injury (AKI) is a common and serious disease.Recently,it has been found that AKI affects other organs and systems through complex mechanisms, leading to distant organ damage.Clinically, the most common damage occurs in the lung, heart, liver and intestine.Cardiovascular disease (CVD) caused by AKI includes cardiac insufficiency, coronary syndrome, arrhythmia and so on.Among them, acute cardiac insufficiency after AKI is also known as cardiorenal syndrome type 3 or acute renal heart syndrome.Studies have shown that cardiovascular disease after AKI may be related to the following three aspects: (1) internal environment disorder caused by AKI; (2) AKI mediated systemic inflammatory response; (3) adverse effects caused by renal replacement therapy (RRT).This paper will describe cardiovascular disease and possible mechanisms in AKI patients.
