Abstract: Recently,organoids have become a research focus owing to their advantages over the traditional 2D cell and animal models.In the field of nephrology,the protocols for generating kidney organoids have been gradually established.This review focuses on the different protocols and the applications of kidney organoids in disease modeling,drug screening as well as regenerative medicine.
