Abstract:

ABSTRACT  Patients with chronic kidney disease, especially those under maintenance hemodialysis, are frequently prone to neurological complications, including central nervous system, peripheral nervous system, autonomic nervous system and muscle. Neurological disorders in hemodialysis patients were used to underdiagnosed and undertreated. This article reviews the clinical presentation, pathogenesis, diagnosis and treatment of neuropathies and myopathies in patients with hemodialysis therapy.
