Abstract:
ABSTRACT A 23-year-old man developed severe necrotizing cellμlitis on both anterior and posterior of his trunk after kneading. The patient had been treated with corticosteroids over twenty months for nephrotic syndrome. Skin biopsy of the wound area revealed cutaneous vascμlitis and chronic inflammation with yeast-like organisms. The Periodic Acid Schiff staining supported that the structures were consistent with Cryptococcosis. A Cryptococcosus neoformans infection was confirmed by cμlture. Key words
