Abstract:

With the more study and understanding of parietal epithelial cell in recent years,people notice that parietal epithelial cells is important in permeability barrier as a second glomerular barrier.And the more exciting discovery is the parietal epithelial cells possibly serve as local progenitor cells when suffer injury.This review will focus on the relevant progresses of parietal epithelial cell.
