Abstract: Corona virus disease 2019 (COVID19) caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARSCoV2) has become a pandemic in the world.Although COVID19 is most well known for causing substantial respiratory pathology,it can also result in several extrapulmonary manifestations. The kidney is widely concerned as an important regulator of homeostasis in human body.Direct viral toxicity, dysregulation of immune response, thromboinflammation and other factors may be related to kidney injury. However, studies on COVID19 leading to kidney injury are still limited, and the specific relationship between SARSCoV2 and kidney injury is still unclear. In addition, during the epidemic, risk of infection in kidney dialysis patients and renal transplant recipients increases, and more reasonable management and prevention are needed. In order to further understand the relationship of COVID19 and kidney injury, and the problems that need to be paid attention to and solved in the kidney field, this article reviews the research progress of kidney injury in COVID-19.
