Abstract: Objective:To investigate the renal function, abnormal urine test, prevalence of chronic kidney disease (CKD) and the main risk factors of adult residents in Moyu area of Xinjiang.
Methodology:The physical examination data of 29 729 adult residents who had completed physical examination in Zawa Township Health Center of Moyu County during January 1,and January 31 2019 were collected and a crosssectional study was conducted.General information was collected through questionnaires, fasting blood and morning urine samples were collected, renal function and urine routine were tested, and the estimation of glomerulor filtration rate (eGFR) was calculated.
Results:Prevalence of CKD,decreased renal function, proteinuria and positive urine occult blood was were 16%,05%,11% and 14%,respectively.Univariate analysis showed that prevalence of CKD was correlated with age, blood pressure and diabetes, while the prevalence of proteinuria was positively correlated with age, female, blood pressure and diabetes.Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that age, female, hypertension and diabetes were independent risk factors for CKD.
Conclusion:
The detected prevalence rate of CKD,decreased renal function and abnormal urinalysis in Zawa Township,Moyu District,Xinjiang were relative low. This study provided the basis for prevention and treatment strategy of CKD in this area.
