Abstract: Due to impaired renal function,patients with chronic kidney disease retain large amounts of protein bound uremic toxins(PBUTs).The accumulation of PBUTs will cause a lot of harm to the body.At the same time,the high protein binding rate of PBUTs makes its free part low,the removal rate of conventional hemodialysis is very low,so the removal of PBUTs is one of the research hotspot in blood purification.This article reviews the removal of PBUTs in blood purification.
