Abstract: With the advent of Internet + medical era,the application of automated peritoneal dialysis(APD) with remote monitoring and management is the development trend and direction in the future. Remote monitoring for APD could increase the high level of interaction with the medical team,carry out individualized management,detect and solve problems early,improve compliance of patients,reduce frequency of  readmission due to technical problems and clinical complications,and better deal with public emergencies,enventually save costs and improve patients′ quality of life. This review summarizes the application of remote monitoring in APD patients.
