Abstract: 68yearold woman entered our hospital complaining of acute discomfort,obtaining dysemesia,anorexia,polydipsia,polyuria,and multiple arthralgia of both lower limbsSeveral weeks before admission,she suffered with right distal radius fracture after accidental fall.The blood test showed hypercalcemic crisis,elevated serum creatinine and parathyroid hormone (PTH)Bone density measurement showed severe osteoporosis.Doppler ultrasonography showed a cystic mass on the inferior pole of the right lobe of thyroid and calcinosis in the left kidney.After symptomatic treatment,her calcium concentration decreased and renal function improvedShe received right parathyroidectomy and bilateral thyroidectomy,and the pathological examination confirmed right parathyroid adenoma and papillary thyroid carcinoma.
