Abstract: 68yearold woman entered our hospital complaining of acute discomfort, obtaining dysemesia, anorexia, polydipsia, polyuria, and multiple arthralgia of both lower limbsSeveral weeks before admission, she suffered with right distal radius fracture after accidental fall. The blood test showed hypercalcemic crisis, elevated serum creatinine and parathyroid hormone (PTH)Bone density measurement showed severe osteoporosis.Doppler ultrasonography showed a cystic mass on the inferior pole of the right lobe of  thyroid and calcinosis in the left kidney. After symptomatic treatment, her calcium concentration decreased and renal function improvedShe received right parathyroidectomy and bilateral thyroidectomy, and the pathological examination confirmed right parathyroid adenoma and papillary thyroid carcinoma.
