Abstract: Heart failure is a common complication in patients with chronic kidney disease and one of the main causes of death. We report a case of a patient with peritoneal dialysis and end⁃stage heart failure who had poor response to conventional anti⁃heart failure treatment and eventually underwent allogeneic orthotopic heart transplantation. After the operation, the patient’s clinical symptoms and echocardiographic indicators improved significantly. This case report provides a new idea for the treatment of peritoneal dialysis patients with end⁃stage heart failure.
